Introducing the Engaged Family Dogs - Lara

Little Lara Lara came into our family 4 years ago, when she was 18 months old, having been rescued from Romania where she was being used for breeding. She came over to the UK alongside one of her pups thanks to Phoenix Dog Rescue. Lara was advertised for rehoming not long after we had sadly lost my Grandad, and we knew as soon as we met her that she would be the perfect companion for my Nan in this difficult time. Nan had been considering getting a dog for a while prior to this, not just as a companion but to help her get out and about too, and Lara has certainly helped with that, she now has lots of friends who she regularly goes walking with! Nothing could ever replace the loss of my Grandad but Lara has been an absolute joy and has done wonders for my Nan, once again showing the power and magic of dogs!
