Gundog Skills for Pet Dogs

I believe that when working with dogs you can never stop learning! I love to continue to build my knowledge and skills by working with different trainers, researching and attending courses where I can! Not only because I have a huge interest and passion for dog training but also because I want to ensure that I can always deliver the best service possible for my clients.

I recently completed the Gundog Skills for Pet Dogs online course through IMDT! Combining search work, impulse control, lead walking and recall, Gundogs are highly skilled in heavily distracting environments, a principle that is important in a lot of training we look for in our pet dogs too. The course taught loads of fun different games and ways to incorporate these skills into day to day life and I can’t wait to put some of them into practice with your dogs - classic Gundog breed or not, it doesn’t matter so long as they are having fun!
